Change in method of usage of JAL Coupon at JAL HOTELS (effective from January 1, 2008)

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that we have decided to change the method of usage of JAL Coupon at JAL HOTELS.
The changes, effective from January 1, 2008 are as follows.

Major changes regarding use of JAL Coupon at JAL HOTELS

1.JAL Coupons cannot be used for the payment of hotel stays and /or meals, which have been reserved through travel agencies (including online reservations and online travel agency).

2.When JAL Coupon are used for the payment of accommodation (room only) and /or meals, hotel mileage/hotel restaurant mileage cannot be accumulated. Please refer to the following chart for the method of reservation and payment when using JAL Coupons.

*1 When you use restaurants at the Japan domestic hotels, you may charge the payment to the room.
However may we kindly suggest that you make payment for food and beverage directly at the restaurant so that you will check out more smoothly?
*2 When using accommodation plan including services related to hotel stay such as pay-TV, payment for pay-TV and such can be made in JAL Coupon.
*3 JAL IC Coupon cannot be used at overseas hotels.
