JAL Group Airlines Domestic Award Tickets
Reservation through JAL homepage has become more and more convenient!

1.“Return Trip Confirmation Service” has become available through the website!

For JAL Group Domestic award tickets, reservation is possible 2 months before the departure date. However, “Return Trip Confirmation Service” can be applied to the reservation with the conditions below.
Applicable flights
  • JAL flights (except flights operated by J-Air)
  • All JTA flights
  • All JEX flights
  • All JAC flights
  • RAC flights (eligible routes include Naha=Kumejima/ Miyako/ Yonaguni and Ishigaki=Miyako/ Yonaguni)
  • *HAC flights are ineligible for this service.
Applicable class
  • Application is possible with usage of economy class award tickets
  • *Class J award tickets are not eligible for this service.
Applicable conditions The whole itinerary should end within 15 days (the same day of the week 2 weeks after) calculated from the date of departure of the first sector.
Applicable itinerary Itinerary that involves purely round-trip journey or connecting flights.

2.Seat availability display function has become more convenient than ever!

  • The actual seat number will be shown for seat availability lower than 4.
  • It is possible for the display of seat availability for 5 days at the most.

3.Reservation has become much more handy!

For telephone reservations not including the JMB member himself/herself, comfirmation of reservation through the web may be made by inputting the reservation number.

* Please proceed from "Japan Domestic Award Ticket Reservation Confirmation", which can be found on the left-hand side of the JAL Mileage Bank top page.

4.Reservation change is now possible through the web!

  • ◆It is now possible to apply for reservation change until one hour before the departure time of the 1st sector for completed reservations. (*)
    (*) The following deadline for reservation change application will be applied for award ticket reservation change.
    <Deadline of reservation change>
    Reservation change must be made before either four days before the desired departure day of the 1st and 2nd sector respectively for completed reservations, or before the departure time of the originally reserved flight (whichever comes first). The whole journey should be completed within the original ticket validity.
  • ◆Possibility of class change
    ・Class J→Regular Seats
    ・Regular Seats→Class J (*)
    (*) For original class J reservations where seats have been changed to regular ones, it is eligible to change them back to class J again.
    ※It is ineligible for the JAL website to process reservations where mileage deduction occurs during reservation change.
  • ◆Possibility of reservation change for "Return Trip Confirmation" reservations
    ※Only reservations with regular seats are eligible for change in this service.
  • ◆Eligibility of reservation change to itineraries with consecutive sectors having the same departure and arrival cities and going in the same direction.
  • ◆Reservation change is also available to reservations with JAL Smile Support Services (except kids odekake support).
  • ◆It is possible for reservation change of itineraries where JMB members are not present.

  • * There are situations where awards may not be applicable as there are limitations to the number of available seats for award use and the applicable award period. (Awards may be inapplicable to some of the flights.)
